Public Sector Door Access ControlWe understand that door access control is now vital in public sector buildings. We have a proven track record in the installation and support of access control in the public sector. Please see our case study section for a selection of door access control clients including Swindon borough council, and the new Swindon Library two examples of many types of public buildings that have taken advantage of our door access system. SecurityWith door access control you can limit access to sensitive departments and also gain reports into possible attempts to gain unauthorised access, via our easy to use graphical user interface. This feature also means all locations and employees are visible at all times, automatically triggering alerts if a door is forced open. All the data is saved and can be retrieved should any records need to be produced, or incidences evidenced. ScalabilityWith the ability to secure over 1000 doors across dozens of sites, this system will comfortably grow in-line with the expansion of your district offices. Working with Microsoft as one of their Gold Partners, we have developed our system on the tried and tested SQL database platform. Safety & disaster recovery
DDA (Disability Discrimination Act)Working with our public sector client base we understand how important DDA compliant technology is in any public building. We can support site managers to design sufficient access including the installation of automatic doors and DDA compliant readers. Please see below for a summary of reader options. High range proximity card readers - This gives disabled employees the ability to gain access to designated doors without having to physically present a card to a reader. As long as the card is in a 5 meter radius the reader will grant access. Hi Visibility Access control readers - We have a proximity reader that has been designed to help the visually impaired gain access to the building. Audible Access Control Readers - With speakers built in to our specialist readers visually impaired employees can locate and use the reader. All the above readers can be configured to allow an extended period of granted access. For example a disabled employee may need one minute door open time. This can be set differently for each employee in-line with their individual requirements. Easy To Use Graphical User InterfaceWe have developed our door access control from the ground up with usability in mind. The actual GUI is based around the familiar point and click interface within Microsoft Windows. Our customers find learning how to administer the system a fairly easy task. You have the option of attending one of our weekly training sessions conducted at our head office or arrange a qualified training to visit your premises so you can fully understand how to administer the system. |
