ITS become isys with launch of exciting new identity!
ITS (Intelligent Time Systems Ltd) will re-launch our brand identity on Friday 17th October to address future opportunities for a more integrated approach to workplace management software.
Previously recognised as a market leader for their Time and Attendance software; Tru-Time, ITS have since identified the requirement for many businesses to integrate time and attendance with other functionality such as HR, Parroll, job costing, environmental management and access and security.
Besides re-launching the company name and identity, ITS will also unveil their innovative new branded suite of integrated products
The company has been recognised by Deloites as one of the fastest growing technology companies in EMEA and recently picked up an award in the National Business Awards for growth and achievement in the South West and nationally.
There is a massively growing pressure on businesses of all sizes and types in the current economic and environmental climate to be more accountable. The need to more efficiently monitor and control budget, resources, environmental impact, security and safety is of paramount importance, and Isys research revealed that many inefficiencies identified within struggling businesses were a result of non-integrated systems, inaccurate data and poor communications or infrastructure.
Out of this was born the new Isys vision to deliver a suite of workplace management products that would integrate fully to manage all activity form full HR and absence management to access control, cost centre analysis and security measures.
Mark Nutter , Managing Director says:
‘Integrated workplace management will be key to future development for any business in terms of saving resources, improving efficiency and streamlining communications. Delivering stand-alone products has become out of date and it is no longer cost-efficient for many companies to run separate systems. Our products are also built from the ground up to allow for future developments and are scalable to grow with our customers’ changing requirements.’
‘Our new identity and product suite is founded on and will continue to reflect our commitment to putting our customers first, listening to and understanding their needs, the very foundations our business was built on’
The new name Isys Intelligent Systems was chosen to incorporate the ‘Intelligent’ aspect of ITS (Intelligent Time Systems) that is already recognised for time and attendance throughout the industry but also supports the fact that Isys now offer a range of systems in addition to time and attendance.
Isis was the Egyptian Goddess of of simplicity, from whom all beginnings arose, and is also the patron of nature, magic and transformation, all qualities that echo the new Isys brand values:
· Development
· Empowerment
· Professionalism
· Responsiveness
· Delivery of promises
· Integrity
· Future vision
· Courage to run with new ideas
· Listening to and valuing clients, placing their needs first.
The launch will be celebrated on 17th October with a champagne buffet reception for clients, stakeholders and press, where the latest Intelligent product – Intelligent Access will also be shown. Intelligent Access is a ground-breaking new web-based software solution for access control that will integrate fully with HR, Time and Attendance and job costing management. For more details on the product, please go to www.isys-group.co.uk
Mark goes on to say:
““The new identity and brand represents a simplification and strengthening of our corporate identity and offering. I hope that it will help us to achieve greater market presence and leadership for our evolving suite of management solutions.
We are very excited about the benefits this will bring our customers, supplier and employees, the current climate for organisations within the UK is such that workforce management is now critical to control costs and manage employees to optimum return.”

Intelligent choice for Fortnum & Mason
Fortnum & Mason are a highly esteemed and aspirational family run business renowned throughout the world for retailing high quality fine foods, speciality teas and hampers. The business has its famous shop front in Piccadilly, London where it has been based for nearly three hundred years.
Historically the company had never used an electronic system for monitoring and managing their workforce. They approached ITS as a reputable supplier to help them to address their T&A and HR requirements, which they felt were bespoke and unlike those of other organisations. Because ITS is equipped and experienced in creating tailored solutions for individual clients, we were able to deliver a Time & Attendance system that worked with their current HR philosophy.
Fortnum & Mason identified biometrics as the preferred data capture technology and opted for a biometric identity system for staff clocking in and out of their premises. ITS supplies this cutting edge technology through its preferred supplier UKB International to compliment and support the T&A and HR solutions provided by ITS delivering the most comprehensive, holistic system available.

The driving factors for Fortnum & Mason’s T&A selection were:
- Ease of daily use for administrators in the workplace
- Support for multi site, web access for flexibility and conformance with IT policies
- Scalability to cope with seasonal sales / staffing peaks
- Integration tools to ADP HR, to create an efficient and paperless workflow for all personnel records
- Highly secure but flexible biometric clocking, to suite the topology of their business
- Fixed cost implementation to satisfy their preferred project management ethos

Numatic chooses ITS for Time & Attendance solution
Numatic International Ltd, the manufacturer of domestic, commercial and industrial cleaning equipment has selected the Tru-Time time and attendance solution from Intelligent Time Systems Ltd (ITS), for use at its headquarters in the south west of England.
The organisation - known for its famous ‘Henry’ vacuum cleaner, chose Tru-Time to monitor attendance and manage HR processes for its 700 staff. Since implementing the system, Numatic has enjoyed improved efficiencies and time saved on both HR and T&A issues.
Numatic required a solution to monitor attendance of growing staff on its mainsite, which has been developed to support new semi-automated production lines and warehousing. Following a detailed evaluation of six products (from an initial 25 shortlist), the company selected the solution from ITS Ltd for its flexibility, broad functionality and excellent references.
Numatic uses Tru-time both to report on historical data and access ‘real-time’ information, providing an up-to-the-minute snapshot of employees in the workplace. The T & A related information can be used by cost centre, department or allocated to jobs, enabling Numatic managers to monitor employee costs effectively. The team have also found the additional HR module invaluable - the payroll is integrated with the Time and Attendance system, enabling it to be processed faster and more efficiently.
Paul Manley, Manager of the project team at Numatic International said; “Prior to implementing ITS’ solution, we had to collate paper records and run through spreadsheets every Monday morning for the payroll. Now each supervisor has the information they need readily to hand in minutes. We can also track holidays easily at the click of a button, rather than having to trawl through clocking in cards. Having more accurate information at our managers’ fingertips enables us to identify where they may be issues and reward employees for high attendance, which has proven highly motivational.” www.numatic.co.uk
