Cost Centre ManagementOverviewUsing Tru-Time, employees' worked hours can be allocated to cost centres set within the software. Using this structure you can manage and review time spent in particular cost centres. You can also track movement that may occur between centres and produce reports detailing exact hours worked. Typically an employee has a default cost centre, however at any time the employee could change cost centre by using a customised key pad on the terminal. Alternatively, your manager can use the software to edit an employee's hours prior to or after the event.
Dependant on the number of terminals in operation, cost centres can be assigned to terminals. For example, if an employee clocks in at Site 1 in the morning and then travels to Site 2 in the afternoon; (providing he has clocked in at each location) the system can track time spent at both sites, and calculate the travel time in-between.
